A website for the 17th Nordic Media Science Konference which will be held in the city of Aalborg, Denmark, august 2005. The design was created for a contest released by Aalborg University - Fx Cartell won 1st prize in the competition, and made an agreement to deliver the final design as well as posters and flyers concerning the conference.
.:: MediaJam Site made for the MediaJam 2003 competition, in which we had to design a fresh suggestion for a site called Sejlsport.dk - we won the MediaJam Award and the Best Design award. .:: Zaimlay We were asked to create a profile site for Zai Mlay – an Afro-Caribbean hair stylist, who was opening her own saloon in Copenhagen . The request was an internet profile, business cards and flyers. In stead of creating a site with black and golden nuances, which are the colors traditionally used by Afro-Caribbean hair stylists, we attempted to give a more exceptional look with pure and clean colors – displayed in e.g. the shampoo colored background – the flyers and business cards also had a strong reflection of this choice.
.:: Restaurant Dueslaget A Danish restaurant requested a web site, which could reflect their profile both for new and old customers. The restaurant serves traditional Danish a'la Carte and huge, exclusive buffets in the evenings and weekends. It was their wish to keep the Bordeaux and golden colors, while they were the ones used in the restaurant. Also it was very important to create the web page in a way that it could be used as a tool by the customers – among other things; to decide the menu before arrival, see the different areas of the restaurant and send in requests for bigger arrangements.
